Tyler Clementi’s Roommate Indicted on Fifteen Counts

A grand jury in Middlesex County, New Jersey has charged Dharun Ravi, Tyler Clementi's roommate at Rutgers University, with a 15 count indictment including bias intimidation, invasion of privacy, and witness and evidence tampering.
Ravi, 19, and  accomplice, Molly Wei, were accused of secretly filming Clementi during a sexual encounter in his dorm room and live streaming the video on the Internet.
Clementi, distraught over the incidents committed suicide the following day, September 22, 2010 by jumping off the George Washington Bridge. 
This tragic event reignited the recent anti bullying campaigns and has garnered national and international attention from celebrity and non celebrity alikes.
